Information on support is available for older people living in Stony Stratford, Galley Hill and Fullers Slade.  You can drop into Age UK Milton Keynes on the High Street for local advice and information. Go along to the Stony Friday Social Club or a lunch or tea at various venues to meet new people. You can also join a weekly Health Walk.

Wednesday

Stony Stratford Community Church Fellowship Tea – Third Wednesday of the month, 3.30-5.00pm.
Our group is specifically for the more elderly members of our church family.

We enjoy a traditional tea and a time of fellowship in the church hall.We have comfortable chairs and a warm welcome for friends new and old.We begin with a thought for the day followed by traditional cake and sandwich tea.  Everything is prepared and served by volunteers from our church. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month. We do not meet in August.

Thursday

Stony Stratford Community Church Drop in Lunch, 12.30-2.00pm every week
Join us for a 2 course home cooked lunch every Thursday. We start with a thought for the day and sing a hymn together. Many of us are retired but all ages are welcome. We charge a small fee of £1 to cover the cost of the meal. The meal is cooked and served by volunteers from our church .
We are very popular and sometimes we have to operate a waiting list because we just can’t fit everybody in.

Walking for Health
Meets at 10.00 a.m. every Friday at the junction of Mill Land and Willow Lane. Please wear stout shoes.  The pace is set so as to ensure everyone can keep up.  https://www.walkingforhealth.org.uk/

Stony Friday Social Club – 1.30pm – 4.00pm at the Methodist Church Hall.

Souper Saturday at Stony Stratford Community Church, 12.00-2.00pm – last Saturday of every month
Join us for a bowl of delicious home made soup and a warm welcome. Cost is free. Donations are appreciated. No need to book , just come along.
We meet on the last Saturday of every month. Soup is served from 12.15pm. Last serving at 1.15pm.
