York House Youth Clubs
Junior Youth Club
Mondays 6.00 pm – 7.30 pm NOTE THAT THE YOUTH CLUB DOES NOT MEET DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS OR ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.
The club caters for children from 8 to 12 years old. The most important aim is that the children can have fun in a safe environment. Every week there is an arts, drama, sports and recreational activities and of course time to just chill with friends.
We are very keen that despite the informal nature of the club, we offer opportunities to for the children to learn life skills such as teamwork and respect.
Subs are £1 per week, plus fruit kebab tuck shop (20p per kebab).

This term we have enjoyed Indoor Sports, workshops in Carpentry and Graffiti, Cookery, Team Gardening projects, Arts & Craft and team challenges and Sports. We have recently had an awesome day trip to Caldecotte to experience canoeing and kayaking and are planning two summer trips. We’re a friendly, welcoming bunch of secondary school aged young people. We’re looking forward to a big recycling project, a fundraiser, workshops in Fencing and making homes for wildlife, photo challenges and more in the coming months.
